Field hockey, similar to ice hockey, is played using sticks. Instead of a puck, field hockey uses a hard, round rubber like ball. Each team plays with eleven players including a goalie. The object of the game is to score by getting the ball into the opposing team’s goal. Indoor hockey is a 5-a-side variant, with a field which is reduced to approximately 131 ft × 66 ft. The governing body of hockey is the International Hockey Federation (IHF).
We are pleased to host the following field hockey clubs and teams for practice including Milwaukee’s Field Hockey Club. We also host local and regional tournaments.
